CJ City Properties is a local company dedicated to providing reasonably priced accomodation of a high standard for students and young professionals in Carlisle.

The Company has been running since 1991, and our Managing Director, Crawford Johnson, was a founding member of the North Cumbria Landlords Association,( now known as NLA Cumbria) which is part of the National Landlords Association. All our Student only properties have been inspected and accredited by Carlisle City Council. We treat our Tenants fairly in return for which we expect the rent to be paid on time, our properties to be treated with respect and returned to us in the condition in which they were let.

Our contracts run for 45 weeks for Students wanting only one academic year or a 6 month Assured Shorthold Tenancy Agreement with the option to renew for non-students. Rent is payable by termly cheque, or monthly standing order and is payable from the day you move in until the end of your tenancy.  A deposit is also payable when you sign your Contracts. This is usually around the equivalent of a month's rent. We use a Tenancy Deposit Scheme to protect your deposit in the event of any disputes. We are also members of the UK Association of Letting Agents.
